How to Steal Whitney Houston’s Look

Madonna, Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana

MILAN, ITALY –  Madonna is in Italy with her Sticky and Sweet Tour and her Brazilian model boyfriend Jesus Luz. While in Milan, Madonna had an opportunity to socialize with old pals, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The designer duo went to see Madonna in concert last night after which Madonna, Jesus and D&G went to posh Restorante Gold for a dinner (D&G own this restaurant).

Madonna was dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dess ($2395 at Bergdorf Goodman) and Christian Louboutin shoes. Interesting, would Madonna have worn the dress if she knew that Whitney Houston wore the dress a day earlier in London at her album listening party? We couldn’t help but link to WhitneyWorld to show the picture below. Thanks guys!

Madonna Looks Chic in Denim!

NEW YORKMadonna is spending a lot of time with her new boytoy Brazilian model Jesus Luz. We caught this odd couple this past Saturday strolling around Central Park West near Madonna’s apartment building. Madonna looked nice and chic in her denim coat, flared jeans and plaid fedora.

Invasion of ‘Boyfriend’ Things

Madonna

NEW YORK — We spotted Madonna visiting kabbalah service with her kids this past Saturday. Her new boyfriend, Brazilian model Jesus Luz, with whom Madonna could tie the knot at any moment was there too (not pictured).

Madonna wore all-white outfit, which is normal among kabbalah followers. We were puzzled, however, about Madonna’s off-white coat. It looked like she might have borrowed the coat from her ex-husband.

‘Boyfriend’ clothes are making big splash this spring season. First, we’ve seen stars like Katie Holmes sporting boyfriend jeans. Then, we started noticing celebrities wearing baggy boyfriend blazers. Madonna took the trend to the next level by wearing boyfriend overcoat. Is there anything else from men’s wardrobe to adapt?

When Celebs Leave Pants at Home

Sienna Miller

There was such a stir when actress Sienna Miller appeared pantless at the premiere afterparty for Factory Girl  back in 2007. Now, we see this tendency of not wearing pants more often. Luckily, it’s moslty seen among entertainers during their concert performances, but there’s good chance this trend will hit the streets any time soon. Such stars as Mary-Kate Olsen and Vanessa Hudgens were already seen pantless in public.

Ciara was the latest singer to go pantless when she performed on Saturday Night Life this past Saturday (May 9, 2009).

Other fans of pantless look include some of the biggest names in US show business. We feature few of them below.

Britney Spears Borrowed Madonna’s Style For Good!

Britney SpearsCircus tour style at times resembles Madonna’s concert style. No doubt who advised whom on how to dress.

It’s great that Britney has such a powerful mentor these days (or had for a while). With good advice from Madonna, Britney will be able to pierce through her tour like the hot knife through butter picking up loads of cash along the way.

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour turned out to be the highest-grossing tour of 2008 earning more than $105 million in the US alone, and more than $280 million worldwide.

Madonna’s LV Tango

NEW YORK — It looked a bit strange back in November 2008 when entertainer Madonna donned this feathery Louis Vuitton runway look from Spring 2009 Collection to a Gucci-sponsored charity event. Now, things make a lot more sense! WWD reports that LV’s creative director, Marc Jacobs, has recruited Madonna to star in Louis Vuitton spring ad campaign which will appear in fashion magazines in February 2009. The campaign, which reportedly made Madonna $10 million, consists of six photos and was shot by Steven Meisel. Click here to read the article.
