NEW YORK– We caught Rihanna shopping at Barneys NY on Madison Avenue and having dinner at Da Silvano Restaurant last Tuesday (8/11/2009). Rihanna was dressed in a Rag & Bone sheath floral print dress ($276.75 at Barneys) and BALMAIN Ankle Fringe flats [sold out was $525 at Chickdowntown]. It’s nice dress, but we’d rather see Rihanna wear it with heels, not flats.

NEW YORK – Hilary Duff was shooting scenes for Gossip Girl with Penn Badgley on for Gossip Girl last Monday (8/3/2009). NEW YORK — So Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr aren’t just Gossip Girl cast mates. We saw Leighton and Jessica spending their leisure time in SoHo (7/22/2009). The ‘Gossip Girls’ were seen shopping and later had lunch at a SoHo restaurant.

Leighton wore Wayne Bubble Short Shorts in Print ($160, was $320) and a grey sleeveless blouse. She accessorized with Marc Jacobs Bow Gladiator Sandals (sold out). There’s Marc By Marc Jacobs Women’s 693179 sandals ($95.98, was $136.48 via Endless) that could be a nice alternative. Unfortunately, we couldn’t ID Leighton’s fringed bag embellished with an assortment of buttons.

Jessica wore a skinny jeans and The Panthom of the Opera tee.
