Military style jackets with frogging embroidery, which were the staple of Michael Jackson’s concert wardrobe and were commonly used as officer’s uniform in many armies around 18th century through early 20th century, became one of the hottest trends in 2009.

The style was brought back by Christophe Decarnin for Balmain Spring 2009 Collection and re-interpreted by many other designers for Spring and Fall 2009. The trend was further fueled by Michael Jackson untimely passing away, which created real demand for military style he loved so much.

NEW YORK — Lovely Kate Hudson was walking down the street in Manhattan yesterday rocking the latest hot trend in footwear — knee-high boots. This Fall 2009 trend looks really nice when boots are made of luxury leather or suede, and are best teamed with tights and a skirt, leggings or skinny jeans (like Kate Hudson did). Knee-high boots are very popular among Hollywood celebrities. By the way, Christian Louboutin boutique has an amazing sexy knee-highs in windows display right now.

LONDON, UK — Lady Gaga was rocking London with the series of gigs couple of days ago. Apparently, lots of people appreciate her talent. Is she considered an American or British entertainer? We know that she was born in the States. But where did her career take off?

Anyway, Lady Gaga went to dinner at Balans Restaurant in London yesterday (7/14/2009), and her dress seemed a bit heavy for a warm night out. Lady Gaga wore Alexander McQueen Fall 2009 RTW wool dress that was totally in accord with Gaga’s love for all things coiled, bent and round. Fierce wedges, a striped clutch and a lace head cover with bunny ears completed Gaga’s look.

Flirtatious looking Bullock arrived to the premiere in a black Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 satin one shoulder dress ($799 was $1995).
