NEW YORK — There’s a new chick flick Bride Wars. It premiered yesterday in the US and UK and will be released in Australia on January 15, in Germany on February 5, in France on February 11, in Italy on February 20 and in Russia on February 26.

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway (Devil Wears Prada) play two brides and best friends who became fierce rivals each fighting to have her perfect wedding.

Costume Designer Karen Patch came up with an extensive wardrobe based on research into Kate’s and Anne’s characters. Anne Hathaway’s character wore Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Theory, Coach, J.Crew, Prada, Calypso and jewelry by Helen Ficalora, Wendy Culpepper and Ice.

Kate Hudson’s character wore Chanel, Vera Wang, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Tod’s, Marchesa, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Club Monaco and Tiffany jewelry. There were also used jeans by 7 For All Mankind, Hudson, William Rast and Rag and Bone.

Despite great variety of outfits in the movie, we wanted to concentrate on the most important ones — wedding dresses? And we must say, wedding dresses used in Bride Wars are exceptional and inspirational!

Karen Patch dressed Kate Hudson’s character in Vera Wang and Tiffany jewels. It was customized dress from 2009 Bridal Collection. Wang used different fabric to create the dress. More layers of bobbinette were also added.

Anne Hathaway’s character wore Vera Wang dress too. It was customized dress from Vera Wang Lavander Label. The look of Hathaway’s characterer was more nostalgic — it was supposed to be her mother’s wedding dress.

   In the mean time after work to day I went on to see this movie. Actually download it from http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com . the movie is called Bride Wars (2009) I choose it because it is more familiar to our life style I feel. It is about two young ladies they are very much loved each other so went on planning their life together. But in the end just because of simple error from a clerk they are up against each other, movie was so joyful always with some beautiful ladies. Check out I think it will get on big success.
