NEW YORK — Singer Fergie a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson of Black Eyed Peas arrived to Late Show With David Lettermanon Tuesday (6/9/2009) looking casual enough in a bronze leather jacket and a grey pants. Fergie’s nail polish and sunglasses looked menacing though. The 34-year-old singer accessorized with Fendi wedges and Jimmy Choo Mandah hobo bag from Spring/Summer 2009 collection ($1595 @ Nordstrom).
LOS ANGELES, CA — Sandra Bullock premiered her latest romantic comedy, The Proposal, on Monday (6/1/2009). Flirtatious looking Bullock arrived to the premiere in a black Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 satin one shoulder dress ($799 was $1995). FYI: There’s different but slightly similar Alexander McQueen dress available from Yoox for $660. Sandy accessorized with Bally Ilya platform shoes from Spring 2009 collection ($298 was $595) and a bunch of necklaces to create this chunky ensemble very similar to Lanvin pre-Fall 2009 jewelry.
NEW YORK — Black Eyed Peas performed their single “I Gotta Feeling” on Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday (6/9/2009). Fergie donned for the performance a green and silver Emilio Pucci embellished mini dress from Fall 2009 RTW collection, which she accessorized with silver Women’s Disco sandals from own collection of footwear ($99). NEW YORK — Actress Julia Roberts visited Dave Letterman again (6/9/2009). This time Julia chose nicely textured all-black outfit, as opposed to all-white outfit she was wearing on the show back in March 2009. The key points of the interview were: Dave Letterman’s wedding in March 2009, Julia’s visit to White House back in the day to meet The Clintons, Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men, and lots of laughs (mainly by Julia).

NEW YORK — We dug out some photos of Taylor Momsen strolling in Manhattan back in April 2009. We thought we saw Taylor’s dress somewhere before. Then we remembered that Kirsten Dunst wore this floral print dress back in June 2008. We also remembered seeing Kirsten buy the dress off $5.99 clearance rack at an H&M store. Yes, this dress is from H&M Spring 2008 Collection.
Maybe Taylor thought, the dress from, like, three collections before would be totally original now. Bad news, Taylor, we bet Kirsten still has hers. There’s good news too. Perhaps 19 years from now, this dress will make a great vintage item.

In case if you are wondering what’s up with Taylor Momsen (a.k.a. Little J of Gossip Girl) these days, we can report that she’s playing pretty cool and heavy music with her rock band, The Pretty Reckless. Taylor is on tour right now opening up for The Veronicas. They play Greenville, SC today and then will rock New Orleans, LA in a couple of days.
There are reports suggesting problems with Taylor and her band. Perez Hilton wrote on June 5th that Taylor had replaced all of her band mates because they ‘didn’t look cool enough.’ . There’s also a reference to Jessica of The Veronicas bitching (presumably about Taylor) via twitter. We don’t really care about any of this showbiz Mumbo Jumbo, though – we just liked Taylor’s music, that’s all.

NEW YORK — We spotted Robert Pattinson outside his Manhattan hotel last Tuesday. The guy, who is considered one of the hottest male Hollywood celebrities, arrived in town to suck blood!
JUST KIDDING! — Pattinson is in town to begin work on his next movie, Remember Me.
We were kinda happy to see that Robert left his wayfarers and a hoodie at home. He still wore his favorite Denim & Thread Frey jeans ($242 at revolve clothing) that Robert paired with a black nylon jacket, a grey v-neck tee and Nike Air Tiempo Rival sneakers ($100).

NEW YORK — Paula Abdul was interviewed by David Letterman last Thursday (6/4/2009). Dressed in a burgundy leather jacket, white blouse and AG jeans, Paula talked about her ‘contract negotiations’ with the American Idol producers. Paula accessorized with a Salvatore Ferragamo snake skin belt, an embellished clutch and a few jewelry pieces from own jewelry line, PAULA ABDUL Forever Your Girl, that is available from HSN.
Paula also devoted a good chunk of air-time to tell a story how she was pranked for the movie by Sacha Baron Cohen’s Austrian alter ego, BRUNO. This guy [Cohen] knows some brilliant producers. Of course, we still remember Bruno / Eminem stunt at MTV Movie Awards earlier this month.
NEW YORK – We spotted Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon in the Big Apple yesterday (6/6/2009). The happy couple shopped several boutiques in SoHo. Reese wes dressed in a black fedora, Thakoon dress and black ballet flats.
We tought, we’d do Reese’s look-for-less after we couldn’t locate her dress. Shopbop actually has two Thakoon dresses – same fabric but different style ($800) and same style but different fabric ($895). .
